Participants must be currently enrolled in a PhD program at a UK university.

The innovation must be the original work of the participant(s).

Participants must have a valid UK residency status and not require right-to-live sponsorship.

Competition Entry:

Entries must be submitted by the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.

Participants agree to submit a detailed business plan and any other required documentation as part of their entry.

Each participant can submit only one entry.

Intellectual Property:

Participants retain the intellectual property rights to their submitted ideas. However, by entering the competition, participants grant CIDAUK the right to use their names, university affiliations, and details of their innovation in promotional material.

Use of Information:

Personal information provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

Judging and Decision Making:

The decision of the judging panel is final and binding. No correspondence regarding the decision will be entertained.

The panel will evaluate entries based on innovation, feasibility, impact, and scalability.

Prizes:

The winner(s) will receive funding and support as described in the competition details.

Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

Compliance with Laws:

Participants are responsible for ensuring their entry complies with UK laws and university regulations.

Any breach of legal or ethical standards will result in disqualification.

Changes and Cancellations:

CIDAUK reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition due to unforeseen circumstances.
